Autumn’s Mirror

On a crisp autumn morning, I found myself standing at the edge of a silent lake, the kind of silence that feels sacred. The water was so still, it was as if time itself had paused to admire the view. Across the lake, nature had painted its grand finale—pine trees standing tall in deep green contrast, while cypress and deciduous trees erupted in hues of burnt orange, golden yellow, and crimson red. Each leaf looked like a brushstroke in a masterpiece only autumn could create.

The lake mirrored the entire scene so perfectly that it became impossible to tell where the real world ended and the reflection began. It was as if the trees were admiring themselves too, their colors doubled by the calmness of the water.

In this moment, I didn’t just take a photo—I captured a fleeting echo of autumn’s beauty, suspended between reality and reflection.
