"Berani" The Gaze of the Wild

His eyes held me still, golden and deep, reflecting the dappled light of the canopy above. A Sumatran tiger, poised and perfect, his muscles resting beneath a sleek coat of fire and shadow. The black stripes curled around his frame like ancient calligraphy, a language only the jungle could understand.

For a moment, he seemed almost inviting—calm, contemplative. His gaze did not threaten but measured, as if considering a quiet acknowledgment between two beings from different worlds. The soft breeze rustled his whiskers, and for the briefest instant, I imagined stepping closer, drawn by the illusion of tranquility.

But beneath the surface of his beauty lay the truth. A beast honed by instinct, his silence was not serenity—it was the patience of a predator. The same paws that lay so gracefully in the grass could crush bone with ease. Those golden eyes, so mesmerizing, belonged to an apex hunter, one whose world was ruled by hunger, power, and an unbreakable will to survive.

I took a breath, aware of my own fragility in the presence of something so perfect yet so perilous. And still, he watched me, calm as the forest around us, dangerous as the storm that waits beyond the horizon.
