The Forgotten Vessel

Time has softened its once-sharp colors, but not its spirit. The paddle boat rests quietly on the golden sand, its royal blue bow still bold against the soft ivory body, now gently weathered by salt and sun. Each brushstroke of faded paint tells a story — of countless tides, distant shores, and hands that once guided it across the sea.

The water beyond shimmers in deep blue harmony, almost mirroring the boat’s trim like a memory too vivid to fade. And just off to one side, a small, bare tree stands with quiet defiance — a silhouette of stillness, as if keeping watch over the boat’s long pause.

I captured this moment not just for its colors, but for its character — for the way it holds a history without needing to speak a word.
