The Old Lighthouse

I took this photo along a quiet stretch of beach where an old lighthouse stands near the edge of the shore. It's been there for generations—worn by time, storms, and salt, but still holding strong.

I came across it during a calm afternoon walk, with the sun casting a warm glow over the sand and water. There was something striking about how the lighthouse stood—lonely but proud, with the beach stretching out beside it and waves gently rolling in.

It’s no longer in active use, but it still has presence. It reminded me of how much history these structures carry—how many ships it’s guided, how many stories have passed through these waters. Sometimes it's the quiet places like this that leave the biggest impression.
