Whispers of Early Autumn

The lake was a mirror of the changing season, its surface so smooth it seemed untouched by wind or time. Before it, three mountains rose like silent guardians, their slopes painted in fading greens, yellows, and oranges—the first signs of autumn’s arrival. Mist clung to the tallest peak in the distance, shrouding its summit in a quiet mystery, as if it belonged to another world entirely.

At the heart of the scene, where the lake stretched its glassy expanse, five young cypress trees stood defiantly, their rounded forms ablaze in tangerine orange. They seemed to glow against the muted tones around them, reflections barely brushing the water’s surface, as if nature itself had placed them there to mark the season’s quiet transition.

The moment was fleeting—light shifting, fog drifting—but I was patient. Framing the shot,I waited, breathing in the stillness, knowing that in this brief intersection of light and time, I had captured something rare: the perfect balance between change and calm.
